Masters in Business Administration Leadership
While this concentration focuses on leadership skills in the business environment, people who want to be a leader in any of many situations can find material and experiences in this course of study to help them grapple with the concerns that leaders encounter. The overall goal of the concentration is to develop "transformational" leaders who anticipate and manage change and lead their organizational units to new, successful heights.
Leadership has been recognized from the time of Moses; more recently the difference between management and leadership has been a subject of great interest. This concentration focuses on the many different ways a manager can lead people in the manager's unit, whether a few people or a thousand.
Masters in Business Administration Marketing
Managers in many disciplines see that the work they do may be well done, but if no one knows of that success, the effort does not get the recognition it deserves. In short, they see the value of marketing.
Though the concentration focuses on the marketing manager or the worker in marketing positions who aspire to be promoted in marketing, is it also useful for the small business manager or persons wanting more knowledge of marketing techniques and strategies.
An organization could be effective internally, but unless it markets its products or services to others, it would remain unprofitable or (if not-for-profit) at least a failure in reaching its goals. This concentration focuses on methods and techniques which help managers guide their organizations in effective marketing programs.

These professors are all familiar with current fire service issues and bring a wealth of theoretical and applicable information and insight to the online learning environment.
